God calls us.
We experience that call as an inkling in our hearts that maybe there really is a God… Maybe we need to consider what that means for our lives…
Maybe God called you as a child. Maybe He is just calling you now! You may be here in this challenge because you have heard the call of God upon your heart and are willing to respond to Him.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20 ESV)
Finding God is a process.
I don’t want you to be discouraged if you feel conflicted, doubtful, or apprehensive. God begins to work in our heart and prepare it to receive Him. Sometimes this is a quick process, and sometimes it takes years. It doesn’t happen overnight, though, and nor is there a special formula. I don’t want you to worry about the “how”.
We will find God, if we seek Him with all our hearts. This is a promise He has made.
We aren’t going to give up. We will press on and search as we would for a lost child – for our entire lives if necessary. He’s that worth it. And He wants to be found. But He wants to be found by people who are willing to give their all to pursue Him. It’s not that God is playing “hard to get”. It’s that He wants your whole heart, not just a piece of it.
Please Pray With Me:
Jesus, I choose to pursue You with all my heart. Please forgive me for the times when I have given up and fallen away. I stubbornly cling to Your promise that I will find You.

We are going to take a little aside today to think about worldview. I want you to complete this survey – you can either print it and keep it in your binder, or record your answers somewhere. We are doing it now so that you will be able to look back at these answers in one year’s time to see if they has changed! If you don’t have a binder, put them in your prayer journal. Answer honestly. You do not have to share your results.

An extremely important issue in the organized church today is “false assurance of faith”. As you have seen from the above article, only about half of professing Christians actually have a Biblical worldview. Unfortunately, many who call themselves Christian may not be saved. It is not our worldview that saves us; however, true salvation will necessarily affect our worldview. This month we are going to lay a solid foundation of faith so you will have no doubt at all in your heart that you are saved.
